Living without worry

There are all kinds of insecurities and problems, as long as the body lives in this world. There is no guarantee of a completely trouble free life. Living without worry seems difficult, with unpredictable things so often happening in this world.

This is the way, our existence in physical form is. Seeing and understanding this clearly, brings acceptance.

It is accepting the way things are– we may not like this, but this is how they are. We may never have chosen this, but this is how things have turned out to be!

Everything is, a certain way now, but we often resist what already is– We worry about things, which already are, the way they are.

Assuming that things may turn out to be bad in future- or perhaps, even worse than what we fear and imagine. Still, does being worried, prevent any of that from happening?

If we are concerned about future, we could try changing something in the now, so as to help nudge events in a direction, that we are comfortable with. But, we cannot do anything more, by worrying!

Worry is an expression of our resistance, it reflects our attempts to fight the change,  that may be coming. Worry is our engagement with fear and aversion, towards a possibility of something unpleasant happening.

Is it possible, to live without worry, knowing that there always is insecurity- things could always happen, which we cannot control, or like?

It is a fact, the insecurity, the lack of any assurance in life- knowing this, accepting this, not avoiding, fighting, or resisting this fact– can we still, despite this truth- manage to live without worry?

We need to clearly understand that- “Everything cannot be controlled by me. I shall try my best to deal with whatever happens, I will face it with all I have, but I cannot always choose or influence the course of what might eventually happen.”

Knowing this for a fact, can we let go of worry?

Once we open ourselves to accepting whatever life may bring, really accept it, without rejecting, escaping, avoiding with a screen of fear or resistance- we can perhaps be free from worry.

We can focus on living our best lives now, attending to things as needed, leaving the future to unfold, from a well-lived moment in the now. Trying to refrain from indulging in thoughts, that invite worry.

We gracefully accept the sequence of events, the natural unfolding of life, without obsessing about what might happen. We do not worry, because we understand, that we are already doing what we can right now- and beyond this, nothing else is in our hands.

If we are living with awareness, in each ordinary moment of our daily lives, we are not reacting from our conditioned mind, but acting in full understanding of the requirements of each situation.

Welcoming each moment in awareness, we are not manipulating its outcome, not demanding it to serve our personal desires, but allowing it to freely unfold, in alignment with the flow of life.

This means, living with a conviction that whatever happens, we can trust our awareness to satisfactorily deal with it. We trust in our inherent ability, to appropriately respond to any situation that we might face.

We trust, that we will do whatever is required when needed, without worrying about it now. In this trust and genuine acceptance of whatever the flow of life brings our way, we respond spontaneously.

Facing whatever happens now, with our trust in awareness, we can remain free from concerns about future, and live without worry.
